Open Reading at BiblioNight

BiblioNight ©TINT

Tint Journal is looking for contributions

Date: May 14, 2025, from 5:15-6:15 p.m.

Deadline for abstracts: April 25, 2025

Dear students,

Tint Journal, the literary magazine for non-native English creative writing, is inviting current and former students of English and American Studies to participate in this year’s Open Reading at BiblioNight on May 14, 2025, 5:15-6:15 pm.

You’ve been crafting poetry or prose in your spare time and would like to bring your writing onto a stage? Or, you’re an experienced writer and would like to share your craft with a fresh audience? Everyone is welcome! To read your work at this event, send an email with your intended text(s) (max. 5 pages or 12 minutes reading time) and a note on your affiliation to the University of Graz to info(at)tintjournal.com by April 25, 2025. First come, first served (approx. 4 writers will be accepted for this event); AI-generated content will not be accepted.

In case your text does not feel “ready” or you’re anxious about not having public reading experience, don’t worry: We’ll offer an optional workshop tackling these issues ahead of BiblioNight.

Queries may be sent to info(at)tintjournal.com.

The Tint Journal editorial is looking forward to hearing from you!
