Marie Dücker researches and teaches at the Department of American Studies and was just on a PostDoc Office Mobility Grant in Canada and the USA:
She sends greetings from the Library of Columbia University and her stops included:

  • a guest lecture at the annual conference of the American Studies Association in Montréal, Canada
  • a guest lecture at New York University (NYU)
  • a research stay at Columbia University

In this way, Marie Dücker is building an international network that enables her to promote transnational research in her main research area of climate change in North American graphic novels and comics as well as narrative theory in the context of intermediality studies.
