Guest Lecture Ilias Ben Mna (Humboldt University, Berlin): "(Post-)Imperial Ambiguities in The Avengers"

Ilias Ben Mna has recently earned his PhD in American studies from Humboldt University in Berlin. Prior to that, he gained a master's degree in intercultural business administration from the University of Mannheim. Between his studies, he also worked as a digital marketing and PR manager on both sides of the Atlantic. His research interests include the politics of U.S. popular culture, U.S. presidential rhetoric, critical media theory and U.S. film history.
 

The event is free and open to the public. This guest lecture is organized by the Department of American Studies.
